Pappy's birthday

Pappy wanted pictures with all of his grandkids for his birthday. We took several shots, and surprisingly with so many kids, some of them actually turned out! A pretty good looking bunch!

Here is my take on the Sweet Peach sketch this month, pretty simple, but I love the colors (which look kind of off in this picture....) and I love the pics. I can't believe how tiny he looked!

Turkey time page

I did this page for the sketch challenge over at thescrappiest.blogspot.com I love these little turkey legs, I dusted off my wishblade and cut them out. I also love these corrugated letters from jillibean soup. So fun!

Fussy Cutting

OK, this isn't something I do all the time, like you ladies do, and mine isn't nearly as elaborate, but I did cut around all of these trees for a cute little border! I love these pictures of my two older kids this fall, and first I was going to use just brown and pink, but I loved these little trees and decided to go all out on the colors!

Pappy's trains

I turned this sketch on its side to do my pictures of Wyatt checking out pappy's trains. Liz's sketches over at thescrappiest.blogspot.com are so inspiring!

sketchy Thursdays

I did this page for the sketchy Thursdays challenge this week. I used metallic paper, which is hard to see in the picture, and sorry for all the shadows...it's raining like crazy here! Wyatt loved all the shiny Christmas stuff this year. Next year I am sure I will be doing a page about him pulling everything off of the tree!
