Easter fun

On Saturday, we celebrated Easter at my mom's house. Decorating the eggs was a hands-on experience for Cody and each egg got dyed at least 3 different times, but he had a blast doing it. He also enjoyed hunting for the eggs (with a little help from daddy) then checking out the loot with cousins Dana and Destiny. I had planned to take a bunch of pictures of Sarah in the easter basket with Cody holding it, but every time I let him near it, he tried to pick her up. She looks cute in her Easter dress, though, and I will just have to take them to get pictures done in a week or so!

The fun begins

We had a lot of fun last week with daddy being home to take care of Cody, but he had to go back to work today. So far, it has been good and Sarah has been napping like an angel. Cody is still enchanted with his little sister, but he thinks that he should be able to pick her up and play with her when he wants to. He enjoys sharing her binky, too. Oh well......

Growing!

Sarah went to the doctor's today. They were amazed that she gained 6oz since we left the hospital. They said that everything looked great and she doesn't have to go back until next Thursday! She finally got to wear her pink in public. Cody tried to change her diaper today. He laid out the pad, the diapers and the wipes and tried to take her from me to lay her down! Maybe someday.....

Sarah is here!

Sarah arrived unexpectedly early on Thursday, and we were afraid she was going to be very small but she weighed in at a respectable 6 lb 4 oz. Cody is fascinated with her and wants to hold her in the worst way. I can't get over how much she looks like him! Of course she is wearing all of the same clothes that he did because we didn't know she was going to be a girl.
