wood pile

Cody and I have been spending most of our time outside. He loves to be out, and stands and bangs on the door when we are not. His latest obsession has been the woodpile. Mike has been cutting up a lot of wood for the outdoor furnace and Cody sees Buddy climbing up the wood pile, so he thinks that he has to do it too. He actually did stand up when he got to the top of the pile, but it was dark and my flash took too long to recharge, so I missed it!

Healthsouth

Cody's Grandma Bonnie had her knee replaced on Monday June 18, so Cody and I have been doing a little traveling to and from Altoona, and Cody has gotten to know the hallways of Healthsouth pretty well. He spends most of his time running away from me and making me chase him up and down the hall. One night, Grandma got him to stand still for a little while by giving him his very first Oreo cookie. He immediately took it apart and licked out the creme! How do they know these things?

Father's Day

OK, so I am a little behind. For Cody and Mike's second father's day together, we went to Canoe Creek and walked around (of course, they had their matching shirts on) Then, we left Cody with Grandma while we went out to dinner!

On Saturday, we went to Hersheypark with Mike's two sisters and their kids. Cody had a good time riding the rides. He was so exhausted from missing his nap that he fell asleep in line for the log flume ride and slept through the whole thing!
