Pappy's birthday

Pappy wanted pictures with all of his grandkids for his birthday. We took several shots, and surprisingly with so many kids, some of them actually turned out! A pretty good looking bunch!

sweet peach sketch march

Here is my take on the Sweet Peach sketch this month, pretty simple, but I love the colors (which look kind of off in this picture....) and I love the pics. I can't believe how tiny he looked!

Turkey time page

I did this page for the sketch challenge over at thescrappiest.blogspot.com I love these little turkey legs, I dusted off my wishblade and cut them out. I also love these corrugated letters from jillibean soup. So fun!

Fussy Cutting

OK, this isn't something I do all the time, like you ladies do, and mine isn't nearly as elaborate, but I did cut around all of these trees for a cute little border! I love these pictures of my two older kids this fall, and first I was going to use just brown and pink, but I loved these little trees and decided to go all out on the colors!

Pappy's trains

I turned this sketch on its side to do my pictures of Wyatt checking out pappy's trains. Liz's sketches over at thescrappiest.blogspot.com are so inspiring!

sketchy Thursdays

I did this page for the sketchy Thursdays challenge this week. I used metallic paper, which is hard to see in the picture, and sorry for all the shadows...it's raining like crazy here! Wyatt loved all the shiny Christmas stuff this year. Next year I am sure I will be doing a page about him pulling everything off of the tree!

Three's

I just did this page for a challenge over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. I used three circles, three penguins, three pictures, three p words in my title, and best of all- my 3 kids!

Happy 3rd Sarah!

I can't believe my baby girl is 3! She was really into the birthday thing this year. She picked out her outfit, couldn't wait for her presents, and blew out her own candles. She was a little annoyed that we gave her a princess bike for her birthday because "I have a Minnie Mouse birthday!" (She loved the bike, she just thought it should not have been part of the birthday). Crazy girl.

Sporting some of her fancy gifts. She is such a girly girl.

And Uncle Matt, as usual was "horsing" around with the kids. It is a wonder he doesn't get hurt every time he comes to my house!

New tricks

First pic is Sarah, second pic is Cody....

And Wyatt!!! He is definitely taller than the other 2 were at the same age. He pulls himself up on about anything. He actually tried to take a step the other day and let go, but he immediately fell to the ground. It won't be long....

He's a pick-up artist! It makes mealtime a little easier that he is starting to feed himself some.

And, we had to lower the crib mattress, because this smiling face is what greets me over the top of the crib rail every morning now!

scoot, creep, crawl

Wyatt is the only one of my kids to do the army crawl. I think he wasn't all that motivated to be mobile because every time he cried, one of the other 2 brought him a toy. He started scooting just enough to get to toys just out of his reach, then he crawled with one leg, and now he is all out all over the place. Look out!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall....

Wyatt loves checking himself out in the mirror. He thinks he is the cutest kid around! So much so, that he often gives himself a kiss!

My mom has a giant mirror in her bedroom, and all 3 kids got in on the action making silly faces for him.

Warm Spell

We so enjoyed that brief warm spell into the 70's a few weeks ago. We went outside and gave the car a good cleaning out! Cody rode his bike into a puddle and discovered that when his tire was in the puddle but his training wheels were not, he could splash water everywhere. He was a royal mess, but it was too funny to get mad at! Wyatt enjoyed checking out the leaves on the driveway. He is such a happy kid!

Vintage toys

We were stuck at mom's house for a few days last month when we had all the freezing rain and snow, and she broke out some of our old toys for the kids. The liked playing with Uncle Matt's old race track and the new big thing was playing with our old viewfinder. We had a lot of disks for it!! They had no idea what some of them were (The Hulk, the Dukes of Hazzard, Holly Hobbie) but they loved the Mickey Mouse and Littlest Angel ones.

Turkey Skit

I never uploaded video before, and this isn't great quality, but it was really funny, so here goes! Cody and Mike signed up to do a skit for the variety show at church and this is what they came up with!
