Love

Even though Cody has his moments of jealousy, he still LOVES and always wants to play with his sister. Last night, I propped her on the couch, and he went and sat beside her. It looks like they are watching TV together. I should have put a bowl of popcorn on their laps! He started saying "sissy" on Saturday. Today when he came in from outside, she was sleeping in the bouncy seat and he knelt down and said "Hi sissy" in her face until she woke up.

Chocolate pudding and smiles

Cody loves snacktime. His favorite snack changes pretty frequently, and this week it is chocolate pudding. He has so much fun eating it all by himself!

Sarah started smiling last week. It is really hard to catch early baby smiles, she always turns her head and waves her arms. She has rolled over twice now, too. I can't believe how much she has changed in just 6 weeks!

1st four-wheeler ride

Cody went for a four-wheeler ride with his daddy on Saturday and he has done nothing but run around saying "four! Four? Go!" since then. Tonight, he was riding his little electric four-wheeler in the house when he decided he wanted to take Sarah for a ride. I put her on with him, and he giggled and giggled. He is such a nice big brother!

One month old!

Sarah was one month old on Sunday and she wore her pretty new dress to church. Cody is just loving his sister. He piled a bunch of toys on her in the swing one day, and you pretty much can't put her anywhere that he won't be on top of her in about two seconds. If only he could understand gentle! It is cute, though.

Hard to believe that Sarah is 4 weeks old today. She is growing a lot, even though she still seems small. She has grown out of about half of her newborn clothes and has graduated to size 1 diapers. Cody is starting to get a little bit of the jealousy bug. He constantly is trying to play with her toys- laying in the gym and crawling into the swing. When I am holding Sarah, he points to the pack-n-play because he wants me to put her down!
