Playtime in the Exersaucer

Wyatt has been spending a good bit of time in the Exersaucer lately. It really frees me up to make dinner and do dishes and he loves the black and white features on it. He gets so excited just looking at them.
Silly crooked smiles melt my heart!

Thanksgiving Pickle

Wyatt wore the same shirt for his first Thanksgiving that both Cody and Sarah wore. His eyes were big looking at all that food. He only ate a little bit, though, and then it was all too overwhelming and he wanted to be held. When Mom was done eating, she took him so that I could eat, and my dear brother decided that he should try a pickle.
He was so excited, he really wanted it when he saw it, then......

Well, I think his expression says it all. But, he couldn't seem to get enough....
Nice how everyone is laughing at him, too!

Love the faces!

Too, too funny. Sorry, Wyatt, these pics are definitely going in your scrapbook!

Toes again!

OK, I know I have posted a lot of pics of Wyatt and his toes, but it is so darn cute! This day, which was last month, he actually got his big toe in his mouth. I think it really surprised him! He was eating yogurt at the time, so it made his toe really slippery, then it kept sliding out of his hands. Funny little man!

Turkey for a turkey!

The hospital gave out holiday turkeys last week, and since I didn't have any room in my freezer (deer meat) I had to go ahead and make it. Cody loves to have a leg when i make chicken, and we just thought it was funny that he took a whole turkey leg. He did eat most of it though...little cave man!

Warm weather=Happy kids!

The kids sure enjoyed the spell of warm weather we had last week. We went to the park, played in the yard, and rode bikes a lot. Sarah has really got it down! Her favorite thing to do, though, is swing. She just can't get enough.

She had fun pushing Wyatt too, and it seemed like he was having fun.....until he threw up! Woops-maybe his stomach will be stronger in the spring!

Bass Pro

We took a day trip to bass pro shop to meet up with Nana and Pappy Clark. The kids love the carts there, and even Wyatt got to squeeze in for a picture

Food!

Wyatt loves to eat, as you can tell by his messy-face-smile! He gets lots of help from big sister, who thinks he is essentially a baby doll for her to take care of!

Peach Challenge

I did this layout for the November challenge over at Sweet Peach Crop shop. I took these pics of Sarah drinking the peach juice out of the canning jar last month, and couldn't wait to do a page of them! She was so cute! The floral ribbon is from a sweet peach kit, and you can't see in the pic, but the letters for "peach" are fuzzy! The challenge is to use the sketch below with any product by Dec. 2 for a chance to win a prize! Just go to www.sweetpeachcropshop.com/blog to give it a go!

Finally Portraits

OK, I finally got pictures taken with the kids. It really is not that easy with 3 of them! I took them twice to get these and to be honest, the first two are merges of a couple different pictures because I didn't get a single one where all three kids looked ok. (I know, I am a cheater!)

This was my absolute favorite picture of them all. Didn't mean to get individual pics of the older two, but the photographer was testing her equipment and wound up with this. WOW!

Wyatt just wasn't in the mood. Mike always asks me why I get portraits done. He thinks the pics we take at home are better. Well, sometimes.....

Extreme close-up. I bought this one because I had a very similar one taken of Sarah and I wanted to compare.

My shy girl.

Prim and proper!

And time to be silly...

I think this look means "I'm trying to smile but he's touching me!"

Belly snooze

Wyatt has been trying really hard to roll over. I am certain that when he can roll onto his belly, he will sleep much better. He was able to get over in his swing- he surprised me when I saw him! Guess I will have to start buckling him in soon....

More toes

Wyatt is really good at grabbing his toes now, in fact it is like an obsession for him now. He is too stinking cute- and growing up way too fast!

Layout challenge

This is a layout I did for a challenge at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. The challenge was to use at least 6 pics on one page. I used the background paper from their October kit and some ribbon sliders from the sept kit. Love their stuff!

Giggles and Tootsies

Wyatt is giggling and laughing out loud a lot now. Funny little man.
His newest obsession is his feet. Anytime he can, he grabs hold of them. He was so funny in the highchair, he kept grabbing and missing or just hooking a toe. He amused himself for quite some time!

GOTCHA!!!

Riding Bikes

With all of this warm weather, the kids have been outside a lot. Mike took the training wheels off of Cody's bike so he could give it a whirl. He did OK, but he was really scared, so Mike put them back on. I think he will be fine next summer, though.
Sarah thought it looked like fun, so she started riding Cody's bike too. She surprised us all that she can actually do it! Guess we will soon have to have 2 bikes.....

Saturday

We went to mom's house after Hartslog days and she has had a rogue gourd vine growing across the sidewalk, so she let the kids pick (and cut!) all the gourds off for her. They had so much fun and got a big bucket full!

We saw lots of friends at Hartslog Days. We went to all the children's activities then got some good food. Funny how you don't have a hand to take pictures with when you have 3 kids at a big public event! Anyway, Wendy saw us there and thought we looked pretty funny, so she took this picture for us!

October Sketch

This page is for the October sketch challenge over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. I used their October kit with the brads from the Sept kit and a few miscellaneous things. There is a lot of inspiration on their site!

3 months

I almost forgot to upload this picture! Wyatt is 3 months old already and checking out his highchair when we eat dinner so that he will be ready to have some food next month! Where has the time gone?! He already watches our forks go from plate to mouth, so I am pretty sure he is going to be ready!

Leaves

I took the kids for fall portraits at Penney's but it didn't go so well, so we went to the nature trail after church on Sunday to try and get some pics in the leaves. Cody and Sarah did really well (Sarah was my problem at the portrait studio) but Wyatt didn't like the feel of the leaves. We will keep trying!

Being silly!

Feel the love!
