I just thought this was cute. Cody was reading a book and Sarah and Wyatt were very interested!
We watched a friend's little girl, who is 3 weeks younger than Wyatt. They didn't play together, but they were both cooing in the gym. Hope for lots more playdates in the future!
With the cooler weather, we have been venturing out in the woods with Wyatt for afternoon walks. This time, Cody was pretending to be buffalo hunting, so he had to keep stopping and looking around with his play binoculars. I bought the kids some tic-tacs one day, and Cody has saved his for when he goes "hunting." He was nice enough to share with Sarah though, since she ate all of hers in the car on the way home from the store.
Since Wyatt is a little less of a noodle these days, it is easier to get pictures of the three of them together. (Still haven't gotten portraits done, though...)
Cody started preschool this past week. He is only going on Mondays, and when I dropped him off, he took off without looking back. I called and called for him just to get this picture! When he came home he said, "I want to go to school every day, mommy." Soon enough, my little man!
We went to the tractor show and Cody and Wyatt got to wear their matching John Deere hats. The kids had so much fun checking out all the tractor stuff.
Cody's favorite part was digging in the corn. Sarah preferred to use her hands.
Both kids had their first foot-long hotdogs. YUM!
They both also went on the barrel ride, which is a first for them. They are usually too scared to leave my side, but they did really well. At dark, we got to watch the steam tractor pulls. Sarah kept saying, "look mommy, it's Percy" because they sound like trains!
We got to go to the last race of the season. It was fan appreciation night, so the kids got to go onto the track and get signatures and candy from their favorite drivers. Cody and Sarah took their backpacks along and had them filled with treats! The races were long because the drivers were all fighting for points and there were a lot of crashes. Dana and the kids lay down right on the ground! She actually fell asleep there, but my kids were too sugared up from all of the candy. 
Uncle Matt finished second in his race and second in points for the year. Way to go Uncle Matt!!!!!
