Hospital pic

Wyatt slept right through his hospital pictures. He couldn't wear the camo hat that went with the outfit that all of my kids have worn because his little noggin was too big!

Belly pics

I took the kids to get pictures with my belly the other day. We had spent the whole day running errands, and Cody fell asleep in the stroller about 10 minutes before we got to the studio, so he was pretty uncooperative. We did get a couple of cute ones, though, but I don't think you can see how big my belly really is. Less than 2 weeks to go!

"Fun" challenge

Angie's challenge this week on www.sweetpeachcropshop.com/blog/ was to create a layout using the word fun. I picked this easter layout of Sarah because it was a fun one. I inked on the flowers because they weren't the right colors, and I inked the ribbon and used some stitching too. Hope you like it!

Angie's Challenge

This isn't something that I would normally do, but Angie inspired me to give it a try. Here is my scrapbook page of Sarah's memorial day!

Memorial Day and Princess Sarah

Sarah got to wear her new patriotic barrettes for Memorial Day. Her hair is long enough now for 2 ponytails, not quite for 1 yet. Soon, though.
They really do love each other. Doesn't always seem like it! I hope they like the new one just as much!

Cody and I went to the dentist last week, so a friend watched Sarah. When I went back to get her, she had her fingernails and her toenails painted! It was her first time, and she loved it. She had to have green polka dots on her toenails, though, so they would be camo! She really is half princess, and half hunter girl.

Turning 4!

For his birthday, Cody requested a cake with a hunter, a 4-wheeler and deer. Hmmm.... Couldn't find that in the cake catalog at the store, so I had to make one myself! He was so excited for his birthday. He got lots of cool hunting gifts. We celebrated on Sunday, and it was "casual Sunday" at church, so he got to wear his Carhartt's. He even won a prize for the most redneck dressed person at church. What an awesome birthday!

Camo on the inside too!

Boalsburg

At the last minute, we decided to go up to Boalsburg on Sunday for the memorial service. It turned out to be a really nice day. They had all kinds of helicopters and tanks that the kids could crawl through. Cody was uncharacteristically shy in the beginning and didn't want to go on anything, but Sarah crawled right up with Daddy.
The only thing Cody was interested in were the guns (surprise, surprise) and he talked to this soldier who told him all about them.

By the end, Cody was much braver and ran around with my cousins kids checking things out.

He wore this flight vest, but he couldn't walk in it. It weighed almost as much as him!

After the service was over, the helicopters took off one by one and flew over the grounds. Sarah waved goodbye to all of them.

She mostly enjoyed running around the grounds while waiting for the next helicopter to get warmed up.

She thought it was hilarious to snort like a pig. My little princess!
